We provide priority treatment for animals in an emergency. If you have an emergency, please come straight in during our normal opening hours and we will attend to your pet promptly. If possible, please phone us on 9457 3409 when on your way so we can best prepare for your pet’s arrival.
Some symptoms that may indicate your pet needs urgent veterinary attention include:
- Difficulty breathing
- Weakness or collapse
- Straining to urinate
- Vomiting and/or severe diarrhoea
- Not eating or drinking for more than a day
- Bloated abdomen
- Severe pain
- Bleeding
- Seizures
- Birthing difficulties
Some of the emergencies we commonly see include poisonings, trauma, motor vehicle accidents, allergic reactions, snake bites, severe infections, urinary obstructions, stomach bloat, and severe vomiting and diarrhoea.
